That's the ugliest thing I've ever seen.

Well, almost as bad as the hillbilly flames you see on cars, the ones that looked like they grazed the guardrail for about a mile and a half.

Think what it looks like doing 80 on a highway. Frikkin stooopid if you ask me.

infinite monkey 01-04-2012 10:15 AM

It's probably got one of those things, whatever they are, that makes their car sound like a 1980s moped, or an old lawnmower. 'Cause, you know, it's sooooooo cool to be loud.

I just attach playing card to the spokes with a clothespin.

"those things" is a hole intentionally drilled into the muffler. Frikkin stooopid.

So 71% of new cars in North America have no color. And I've noticed that of the cars that do have color, most are pretty muted.

We have a silver, a blue, a gray, a red, and a yellow - in that order.

We have a green and before that another green. Our green car is the only one I ever see around town. They don't sell cars this vibrant any more. And I don't even think it's that vibrant. But It does kind of blend in with the grass, so I have to be cautious of other cars when I'm driving through fields. :)

(oh, and my car's formal name is Daisy Head Maisie. Daisy Mae or just Daisy for short. I had a Pathfinder named Chautauqua. My CRX was named Chiquita (bright yellow) and I didn't name the Olds...except for POS.)

Just one...

more.

I imagine the Pathfinder caused a great deal of sufferage.

HungLikeJesus 01-04-2012 11:08 AM

Maybe it should have been called Chappaquiddick.

infinite monkey 01-04-2012 11:14 AM

Heh.

No, it was a sign I saw driving to Maine for my honeymoon, in my gently used Pathfinder. Maybe in NY state.

Yeah, this was a third criteria after manual and hatchback, a bright color, limited choice even further.

The color choices for all the vehicles I looked at include at least 5 shades of white, black grey or silver (also grey), and maybe two colors, which might be dark red instead of bright red. I guess that's what people must buy
