Not shitty at all!
You have no idea how many times I lay in my bedroom in London hearing Steve practice this over and over. He was a competant player (something I have never been) but he simply did not have a voice.

I think it sounds great already.

thanks!

I agree.

Ooh, a divorce song! (we just disagree)

jimhelm 10-10-2011 11:03 AM

OH, I Lurve Moonshadow. a bit repetitive, but it's right down the middle of my range. I may have a go at that.

footfootfoot 10-10-2011 11:18 AM

Great Jim!

classicman 10-10-2011 03:07 PM

Excellent choice Spexx. Yes please Jim. Give it a go!

jimhelm 10-11-2011 11:38 AM

wow, there's a whole lot of Cat Stevens that I like. I forgot all about him.

The Wind is maybe my favorite....

and Oh very Young.... love that...

although it's not a pure guitar song...

footfootfoot 10-11-2011 12:01 PM

Do know what Cat Stevens' birth name was?

Steven Katz.

Thanks folks, I'll be here all week. Try the Halal goat.

ZenGum 10-11-2011 06:58 PM

I always found mooshadow to be grotesque. Hey, my hands have been cut off and my eyes gouged out, but look on the bright side...

Clodfobble 10-11-2011 10:07 PM

Not just his hands, he goes full quadriplegic and loses his teeth too, by the end of it. It was one of my mom's favorite songs, we would listen to it all the time when we were kids. :)

jimhelm 10-12-2011 12:19 AM

maybe i'll do a parody for haloween?

quick! write the grossest, goriest lyrics you can!

footfootfoot 10-12-2011 09:31 AM

I'm on it, Jim.

jimhelm 10-12-2011 09:58 AM

Arseome.

I tried playing it last night and all the tabs I found just sound wrong. I may have to learn this one the hard way.
