I've always thought that Fox was slanted, but still a decent source for news. I'm about to put them in with Newsmax and the Washington Times though, given their coverage as of late.

That would be a huge mistake. You have to pick and choose the programs, just like picking and choosing your newspaper sources.

How so?

Very simply because you have immediately narrowed your view to only those sources that agree/disagree with your idea of what is fair news.

The way you've stated your answers here Merc, it seems like you're agreeing with me that the Washington Times and Newsmax are out there. :)

Am I a liberal person that is biased? Duh! But I'm also a pretty fair-minded person that is willing to entertain other points of view...moreso than many people, IMO. I dislike a lot of hard-left shit because it's just annoying as fuck. And I dislike a lot of hard-right shit because it sounds like wacko conspiracy crap. And that's what Fox is starting to sound like. At least MSNBC's website is still pretty straightforward. Too bad their evening hosts have gone nuts.

I still check out the "extreme" shit on occasion, because you have to keep track of those nuts. This is my new favorite.

I do agree with most of your points. I feel it important to hear what the extreme is saying on both sides but I usually end up discounting what I hear. On that much we agree.

On a lighter note, this was pretty funny..

Here's an interesting one.

If Obama gets elected and Palin does try for president in 2012, the Republicans are going to be faced with an interesting choice. Nominate Palin and appeal to %100 of the base or nominate someone who can actually get elected.

I don't think Biden will go for the job in 2016. If Palin decides to run then and Hillary decides to run (at age 69), then we would have one great debate.

This is much funnier (and serious at the same time). I love the video frame they use as a still.

Now we have some great interviews with Obama supporters in Harlem. Our grand informed public.

If he held out hope for Fox up to this point, that certainly isn't his problem.
