Is it time for another hint?

theotherguy 07-27-2007 05:43 PM

yes. Flint, close your eyes.

Clodfobble 07-27-2007 05:47 PM

The middle word is "in" and the first word is plural.

theotherguy 07-27-2007 05:48 PM

carrots in absentia

Clodfobble 07-27-2007 05:51 PM

Also, the last word is not Latin.

theotherguy 07-27-2007 05:52 PM

Damn! Well, then I am out of guesses. I will probably have a "duh" moment when someone gets it correct.

This could fly since Mr. Clodfobble delivered that wonderful riposte.......

Clodfobbles In Austin

:D

I simply cannot come up with anything, so asked my housemate
Perhaps I didn't explain the game clearly enough

In response to the CIA prompting he came up with Pigs in Blankets
I am still laughing

See, now I've begun to suspect that this is just a product that no one north of the Mason-Dixon line has ever heard of. But people living in my state wouldn't consider it unusual in the slightest. Alright, how's this: I have posted at least two recipes on the Cellar that included this ingredient.

Sundae 07-28-2007 10:12 AM

I would never have got this in a million years without the clue
So I feel a bit shabby... but it's my only chance of ever getting one:

chipotles in adobo

Uisge Beatha 07-28-2007 10:27 AM

Adobo! :smack: Excellent, Sundae - methinks you hit it.

Clodfobble 07-28-2007 11:27 AM

WOO!! Chipotles in adobo!!

SundaeGirl 4 teh WIN!!

lumberjim 07-28-2007 11:31 AM

adobo? isn't that a little house made of clay?

wolf 07-28-2007 11:32 AM

Must be the Southwestern equivalent of Log Cabin Syrup.

Clodfobble 07-28-2007 11:34 AM

It's the spicy sauce they usually come in.

And I would definitely put them on waffles before eating the abomination that is syrup, so I suppose they are roughly equivalent. :)
