Perhaps some of this stuff comes in later. It sure hasn't helped in any of the completed puzzles.

Did anyone of you guys noticed that "mr. TINP" was on stage today?
Register and read it: http://www.thisisnotporn.com/forums/...topic=752&st=0

Yeah I read about that... I wish he had posted about it more ahead of time so I wouldn't have missed it.

I'm new... Hello everyone

On the "Scandinavian Imports" page, on the bottom are these numbers:

"104 101 098 098 097 110 032 111 108 108 097
032 118 111 103 097 108 097 032 110 101 115 116 097 115 032 104 097
103 117 110 110 097 110 032 013 010 104 105 110 097 115 101 032 104
105 040 099 041 032 040 101 041 110 100 097 032 116 104 117 032 013
010 117 117 040 097 116 041 032 117 110 098 105 100 097 040 110 041
032 040 117 117 041 101 032 110 117"

they are ascii for this:

"hebban olla vogala nestas hagunnan hinase hi(c) (e)nda thu q uu(at) unbida(n) (uu)e nu"

without the parentheses, this:

"hebban olla vogala nesas hagunnan hinase hic enda thu wat unbidan we nu"

Which, according to this website:

http://www.highspeedplus.com/~edonon/dutch.htm

is archaic Dutch for this:

"All birds have started nest building except you and I; what can we expect now"

I'm still new...

Hi, I just got into this thing last night.. but got to the second page on my own. With the help of this thread, I managed to get as far as anyone knows. I don't think this has been mentioned, but I've found something EXTREMELY freaky. On the first page where you can click "Abandon All hope, ye who enter here." and hear that music, there's more than people pay attention to. I added a link to that file on one of my websites so i could download timeitwhatis.mp4. It's not just a sound, but a video. My friend couldn't view it, but i can on my mac. It shows an image about every 3 frames. The room is very dark, with only window blinds, and some other shape being visible. In one of the very last frames, something as scary as hell pops up. It appeared to be a negative image of a face with goggles, a gas mask, or something of that sort. I don't know if this has any relevance, but it was freaky enough to get my attention. Also, i got something one one of those Hanson faces asking for a username and password, but only once... I really haven't heard anything about it. What is site all about anyway?

XRedBlazeX 01-02-2005 04:34 PM

Shit dude! That's remarkable... I think the guy from TINP sent that e-mail out just because noone had downloaded the .mp4 file from the actuall website and realized it's a video as well.

sh1ny0bj3ctz 01-02-2005 05:13 PM

I never even got that email... i just joined the official forum and read about the email a moment ago. All i really wanted to do was reverse and speed up the music.. it's a boys choir singing a charlie brown christmas.

Miska 01-02-2005 08:56 PM

Agh! How could I be so stupid... "Lighthouses are by the ocean" how dumb. I guess I'm just obsessed with Gotanda's death. Anyway, this has probably already been mentioned but, the candle!!!! The candle was on in the Sheepman's room and that was how Yumiyoshi found it; from the faint light coming through the crack in the door. The main character had a dream where he and Yumiyoshi went back into the alternate Dolphin Hotel and the candle was out and the Sheepman was gone.

Oh, and the numbers and phonetic alphabet... what has been said in both transmissions is useless to the puzzle. Those are recordings of spy messages and to decipher them you would need a one-time pad. Even if you had it they would have nothing to do with TINP.

sigh

it seems we just got to a dead end... i dont thinkwe are gonna get anywhere with Audition, Death of a travelling salesman anytime soon... anything we find out doesnt seem relevant this site will drive me crazy sooner than expected lol

XRedBlazeX 01-03-2005 08:03 PM

They feel the same way over at the official TINP forums duckie... Maybe it's time for Mr TINP to give out a hint to all us lost souls?

We can hope anyways.

CelestialChick 01-03-2005 09:36 PM

hey i just found out something about Audition, Death of a Saleman. There is a Japanese movie named "Audition", which is based on the original story. maybe I can find the password in there.

yea, not a big hint but something that can help us a little.... what would be funny is if mr. TINP doesnt have the page done and its just there to drive us insane and then changes it to something we can solve when he is done :yelsick:

Mr. Ears 01-04-2005 04:29 PM

dude, you guys know about the video thing? does there happen to be a clock in it?

Existentia 01-05-2005 09:04 AM

Now, I don't know if this has been brought up in the past but I believe the person who made the site is supposedly a WWII Veteran. Well, if you look at the date to which it is counting down, it's the same date as D-Day... Perhaps that holds some vital information.
