Apart from one late sending notification has everyone else sent now?

Sundae 12-24-2014 07:33 AM

I got an unexpected book.
No note whatsoever.

Thank you so much my very Secret Santa.

I'm hoping mine makes it to it's destination! I sent it on the 15th of Dec.

Lola Bunny 12-24-2014 05:47 PM

My receiver should've received the gift by now. I sent a package later than his, and the other person received his package already.

Pamela 12-24-2014 08:52 PM

I am exempt from prompt reporting the arrival of my gift as I am not home yet.

I should make it home Friday morning. I'm betting my gift arrived and I just don't know it yet.

busterb 12-24-2014 10:13 PM

I've not got mine, but didn't check mail today:jig:

Thanks for posting that picture. It reminded me to pack the old TomTom that we are giving to our friends hosting todays Christmas dinner. We keep forgetting and they do not live close by.

Aliantha 12-25-2014 07:30 AM

I love you Sheldon...in a non butt fucki.g way. Xxx. Pics tomorrow.

If you sent yours later than his, wouldn't you expect yours to arrive later?

Here are my gifts from Sheldon. The Tshirt is a little bit small, but I guess I can stretch it...or lose weight. haha

I love the baking items, although one of the ramekins was broken, so only 3. The little spring form pans are perfect. I was thinking of buying some, so now I probably wont need to.

Thanks Sheldon. I love my gifts. xxx

orthodoc 12-25-2014 09:40 PM

Not strictly Secret Santa, but our family enjoyed Ali's fruitcake for dessert tonight and it was fabulous. Moist, sweet, fruity, delicious. Thank you, Ali!

Aliantha 12-25-2014 10:43 PM

So pleased to hear that Ortho. :)

orthodoc 12-25-2014 11:10 PM

And no police were called, in the end (see the dinner thread), so all has ended well. You just never know ... but I do think the fruitcake had a positive effect on the angry menfolk.

Sheldonrs 12-26-2014 04:42 AM

Yay! :-). Did the 4 cups make it ok?

Aliantha 12-26-2014 05:40 AM

Only 3 Sheldon. One was cracked in half. :(

Sheldonrs 12-26-2014 05:55 AM

:-( bad Santa! :-(

Aliantha 12-26-2014 06:20 AM

haha...oh well, the rest of it was awesome, and I have others very similar to that, so although it's disappointing, I have to say, they weren't the high point of the gift for me anyway. xx

Sheldonrs 12-26-2014 07:04 AM

The mini powder sugar sifter? The cupcake corer? The t-shirt that looks fabulous on you? :-)

Aliantha 12-26-2014 10:55 AM

Oh I love the cupcake corer btw. Can't wait to give it a whirl.

Sheldonrs 12-26-2014 12:19 PM

Until I saw it at the store, I never knew such a thing existed. :-)

Worded wrong, I guess. I meant I sent my SS gift few days before I sent my friend's package off, and he got his already.

As a bonus, Dan-ta as he is known this time of year got a little something in the mail from that "Iran Island" - lol. I think we got it straight this time. The interesting thing is that he remembered your real name. Fascinating what power emotions have on the brain. Thank you so much Limey-Santa.
The decorations went right onto the tree and he is hiding the goodies from the rest of us for his own personal consumption. :)

lumberjim 12-26-2014 03:27 PM

SOOOO jelly of those ornaminks

You're welcome! Part 2 will get there eventually, I promise.

classicman 12-26-2014 08:05 PM

Part 2 ??? Already forgot about that.... Oh my. I cannot wait.
I'm gonna try to rehydrate some Honeys and some Hens this weekend with my father and see what they taste like. We have some that are 3 years old. I occasionally eat them like chips or add to soup. This should make them a little more fun.

Limey! He's amazing! Made my day! Made my hole weak!

I wanna hug him, but he's too little!

The mermaid and mud skipper are perfect side kicks!

lumberjim 12-29-2014 10:12 PM

I thought the mermaid was a squid at first because she was upside down.

Clodfobble 12-29-2014 10:21 PM

So. Jealous.

Very cool!

xoxoxoBruce 12-29-2014 11:29 PM

Those poor creatures, the things they'll see... and feel.

I had to work on Christmas Eve, and it was dark by the time I got home. (who the hell gets their oil changed at 5:30 pm on Christmas Eve???) Anyhow, I didn't see this package as I walked up to my house until I opened the screen door! Woo hoo!!
Attachment 49992

I opened it on Christmas Day and SonofV was the photographer of record. Here are his results.

I must say, zippyt, your intelligence is unmatched. I have no interest whatsoever in discovering and expelling the mole you clearly have embedded in my organization. These are *perfect*. Thank you, thank you. After a little quality time to chill out (in the freezer), I enjoyed a Christmas Bourbon in your honor. Cheers!

A brief word as to the delay in posting these pictures. The external hard drive on which I store almost all of my pictures had a scary but thankfully non-fatal failure on Christmas Day. When I tried to launch Picasa, the organizational tool I use for the hundreds of thousands of pictures I have, my computer responded "Drive P: is not formatted. Do you want to format it now?" NONONONONONOnonononononononono thank you very very much. I was able to resuscitate the drive with an eask chkdsk /f, but one of the casualties was the index file for Picasa. Only this morning has Picasa returned to full functionality. The named faces part of the library took the biggest hit; I now have over 47,000 unnamed faces left to identify.

I've only just seen this and am so glad the parcel didn't get lost for too long by the assorted postal services. I tried to pack enough chocolate critters so that everyone in your family could have one! Naughty Dan!

oh ha, glad it made it :) The beads have been sat on my desk for several months now waiting to be strung and mailed :o I ended up having Banana Lady take the parcel and mail it when she got back to give me a deadline for getting the damn project finished. They were made just for you, there are no others like them :) (yet..... ;) )

Clodfobble 01-10-2015 04:25 PM

Awesome!

limey 01-10-2015 04:42 PM

I suspected banana lady's involvement as this was clearly posted in UK. Thanks again! Will turn the pic round when I get to a PC.

You're in good hands buster. It's not me, this time.

But, but, she could be the #bestsecretcupidever if she includes some topless selfies and calls it an early Valentine's Day gift.

Aliantha 01-12-2015 04:09 AM

Thanks Buster. X

limey 01-15-2015 06:16 AM

Ahem. Search your conscience and your camera roll. Have YOU posted pics of your Secret Santa gift? If not, please do, or you're on report.

Limey has contacts who have nothing better to do, since the break up of the USSR. You do not want them coming for the pictures, you really don't. :whip:

limey 01-15-2015 04:07 PM

I'll get :santa: to do a roll call tomorrow, if'n you're not careful!
