Very, very, disappointing.

Wait a minute. A bare shoulder and a hint of boob counts a naked?! How very Victorian.

BTW, did you by any chance play Jan Brady when you were younger?

Kidding. It was a nice pic.

MY name-calling?

I'm not letting it go, here or anywhere else. I dont put up with shit like that. I dont let homophobia go quietly. I fight it.
YOU stop ruining this otherwise civil forum with YOUR bigotry.

No, I was not Jan Brady, you dope!

And I'm bare under there, you just can't see it. Fortunately for you.

That pic was taken as a gag for my "home" forum friends, when we were daring each other to post nakie pics. Can't remember why the beer, though.

Don't have my septum pierced anymore.

:)

Nice pic but hardly nakie! :D

I wondered how they would ever let you get away with that at the law office. :)

Oh, the beauty of a septum piercing is you can hide it! That little piece of jewelry flips right up inside the nose and you can't see it at all. A perfect piercing for professionals.

Will probably get around to getting it repierced. Don't particularly like the look with that jewelry, but it gives me creds in the bodymod world.

I'm gonna clank in my casket.

I would think you would have trouble breathing out with some of the larger stuff like 0. That would drive me crazy.

Cloud 04-28-2007 11:28 AM

I know people who have large gauge septum piercings, and they say not. Larger gauges tend to smell pretty bad, though.

I wonder why that is, maybe bacteria gets down in the threads or something. We wash them out with hydrogen peroxide every now and then. I would think regular cleaning would eliminate that issue.

Cloud 04-28-2007 11:35 AM

Well, no-- it's like toe jam, or navel lint. A healed piercing exudes sebum, a waxy secretion from the skin, plus dead skin cells, etc. We call it "the funk" and it occurs on all healed piercings--it's one of the ways you can tell it's healed. Regular cleaning of healed piercings is very important, but it still occurs.

The hydrogen peroxide will work well for cleaning it off your jewelry. Just be sure not to use it on acrylic, because it will melt.

Personal habits, i.e., not eating lots of crap, keeping hydrated, etc. will make the body smell sweeter (piercings or not).

I didn't know that. Thanks.

Beestie 04-28-2007 05:00 PM

Vitamin E oil works too -keeps it from building up in the first place. I had to use that when I had some piercings. No, not that kind - 4 steel screws attaching various pieces of arm bone to an aluminum frame. Now that was a fun summer. To have a six-month old.

Iggy 04-30-2007 12:24 AM

Well darn. That talk did kinda ruin the moment... and to think, I was contemplating posting some nekkid (or partially nekkid) pictures since my co-workers aren't on here anymore. :p

Please, please, please?

LabRat 04-30-2007 02:25 PM

Oooh, do some in just that corset without the T-shirt....

Elspode 04-30-2007 08:09 PM

Speaking as one of the most frankly sexual persons here, I just want to say that I would be overjoyed...nay, hysterical with joy...should Iggy deign to display her mammary protruberances here for the erudition of Cellarites.

Just seeing her in t-shirts and corsets is almost enough to give me palpatations.

Iggy 04-30-2007 11:20 PM

Well I do have this really hot red corset that is not appropriate to wear out and about. But it does cover most of the important bits... maybe I can convice my SO to lace me up and photograph me so that I can enjoy the reactions. That is the most fun part, me thinks. :D

zippyt 04-30-2007 11:32 PM

Chock-full of naughty goodness.

Red corset !!!!

Ib, you might want to read this link......http://psychology.ucdavis.edu/rainbo...prej_defn.html

The article describes a heterosexual's open dislike and or beratement of homosexuality as not at all a phobia, an irrational fear, but a prejudice. It can brought out by such as a homosexual indicating that a heterosexual is "cute" (or vice versa). I personally could care less what your sexual orientation is, but you might feel a bit uncomfortable, or even offended, if I, a known heterosexual, called you "cute". You might interpret this as "queer" or "light in the loafers", id est, a put down. Obviously, you don't need me to tell you that you have every right to express your opinions in the manner you see fit, but you should realize that more often than not, a negative reaction is a retort, a return put down to a percieved put down. It's just something to think about.

All that truly counts is that you're an intelligent, talented individual. Period.

2006 was the first and only one so far, here. But I'm not sure it requires a new thread for every year. Then again, the title would be inaccurate. I dunno, do with it as you see fit...

Homophobia is simply the accepted, much-used term for any kind of anti-gay or anti-queer prejudice, whether it's really a technical 'phobia' or not.

For the record I have no anti-gay ideals or prejudice, unless you are a non-consenting non-adult.

You are a homophobe of the worst kind - the kind that pretends he isn't a homophobe except in certain situations.
You dont have a problem with people being heterosexual; if it's any different when they're not, youre a homophobe. End of story.

bluecuracao 05-02-2007 04:30 PM

That's...frightening.

Ibby 05-02-2007 05:55 PM

Now do you see the issue I have with Merc?

bluecuracao 05-02-2007 06:17 PM

Are you asking me, or the Cellar in general?

richlevy 05-02-2007 09:02 PM

You know, I think the only reason Merc is on this board is to make UG look sane and reasonable in comparison.

I'm waiting for him to invoke the Baldwin defense. "The kid made me do it. You don't know what it's like."

Aliantha 05-02-2007 09:06 PM

UG isn't sane and reasonable? lol

DucksNuts 05-02-2007 09:49 PM

Must be an Aussie thing. I agree Ali.

You're looking very dapper indeed.

Trilby 05-23-2007 06:18 PM

I wanna know how it is that he's A) in Fla. B) in DOUBLE long sleeves and coat AND hat, C) in black, and, D) not sweating like a pig???

He's a witch!

rkzenrage 05-23-2007 06:47 PM

I decided, after this photo, not to wear the hat. The suit is not very thick.
I have advanced arthritis and grew-up here (I like the heat) and, other than this photo, going to the bathroom, spend my time in a wheelchair. So, I don't exert myself very much. It was in the seventies last night.

Trilby 05-23-2007 06:54 PM

I just meant that if I were all of those things (A thru C above) I'd be sweating like a pig. You look cool as a cuke.

Sundae 05-23-2007 06:56 PM

I also assume from the shadows that it's early morning/ late afternoon?
But am interested that you haven't denied witchcraft ;)
