While I definitely don't like the current resident of the White House, I also would need a lot more corroboration before I could believe that story.

If it were true, then I'd have a lot to say.http://www.cellar.org/images/smilies/pissed.gif I signed up for the National Constitution center on the weekend they opened. I'd have signed up on the day they opened if I could have.

Noone who has taken that oath can say those words, ever, under any circumstances. No excuses accepted.

Politicians don't get elected by telling the truth. Problem lies here among us. To paraphrase a Jack Nicholson character, we can't handle the truth. We like to hear lies such as Saddam has WMDs. When people tell us the truth, we tend to vote against them. Among many, reality is too complex - such as why Saddam created fiction that he had WMDs.

Public generally wants sound bytes. That means they prefer lies from Oliver North rather than listen to realities - such as Oliver North saw to it that Marines in Beruit did not even have loaded guns. How many remember why 200+ Marines died in Beriut? Oh. That is too complex - why the guards had no loaded guns to protect that Marine barracks. Better to believe politician propaganda. Better to view everything in terms of black and white. Then we elect people who are better at lying. As a people, we like being lied to. It is why we vote for them.

I want to here a lie from LtCol North, with outside corroboration.

I shop at Wal-Mart. But never on weekends if I can help it.

Doesn't he have a radio show? You can hear him all the time! And I'm sure Limbaugh will corroborate anything North says.

Shopped there today. Love it. Free market forces.

April got me a few t-shirts from Wal-Mart earlier this week...and I like them. Someday, I'll be smaller and will be able to buy my clothes from regular stores.

Just in case you're interested LtCol North lost his Senate bid and hasn't Run for any thing since.

If Hillary can invest in Wal-Mart, why shouldn't we shop there? Oh I know the Democratic Party generally believes Wal-Mart is "disgraceful" and symbolic of "what's wrong with America." But hey, it would be hypocritical to say that and invest in it at the same time, wouldn't it? How about being on the Board? Nah, I say what's good for Hillary is good for me! I'll keep shopping there, thank you very much.

I never saw the reason of boycotting Walmart to shop at another corporation that would be Walmart if they had the chance...
