i suppose this makes me radically different from the other dwellars, but.. i've never been drunk. never had more than two drinks together EVER, don't like beer.

I AM, however, i diabetic. they tell me, in chronic disease class, that having high sugar is physically similar to being drunk. thick tongue, slow brain, dizzy, stupid. and in the morning, cotton mouthed and headachy.

Time to resurrect this'n. Who posts buzzed?

I do. I can tell the difference the next day between my real personality and the buzzed one.

As I am currently on probation and random breathalyzers, alcholol is no longer on the list of acceptable substances. However, I still am using prescription medicine to go to sleep at night (I just don't waste them on sleeping -- I post). There are other herbal remedies which have proven useful as well, but we have among us a fellow cellarite who is battling the overuse of this substance, so I shan't delve too deeply there.

I am not trying to behave any differently == I am just carrying on the same conversations that I do during the day. What differences dost thou perceive in mine manner?

Aside from the snooty staged accent -- that's from the strong drink thread.

Bonus question: who else is likewise influenced right now? And do you wanna hang out?

I used to post on message boards while intoxicated, but chatting while intoxicated is even worse. At least you can go back and edit idiot posts on a mb. You can't edit idiot posts in a chat room. lol

I'm not intoxicated now. It's only 1:47pm here. Maybe some night I'll come and post drunk, but more likely I'd decide it was too much trouble and go to bed instead. :)

Mostly I'm a "I luuurve you, man" kinda drunk. But, several times I regretting PUIs when I pissed people off. When I'm UI my buttons are pushed far too easily and I can go postal. So, I try to remember that and keep my temper. Tonight, it's rum and coke.

A funny thing at the end of a Raiders game recently, my Club bartender tells a bunch of guys, "Sorry, can't server you anymore, you guys are already too hammered. Hey, Rockie, here, this one's on me, buddie." Kettle One on the rocks. I guess I was behaving myself OK that night.
