First thing this morning I took a picture of the cedar tree outside my window. This is one of my standard "Hey, it snowed!" pictures.

At least the squirrels haven't stolen the feeder yet. I expect them to chew through the string any minute now. I have had the local squirrels destroy $40 "squirrel proof" feeders, so I just buy a bunch of the $1.99 ones at Walmart and take my chances. They stole my suet cage last year, which had been secured to a metal bracket with a chain. My fault, because I didn't have the foresight to weld the links closed.

Somewhere under the snow is a very cute planter, shaped like a bunny. The lump in the right foreground is my grill. I will be using the George Foreman for the next few months, I think.

The bottom half of that cedar ...

Looks like we did get a little warming going on. The big guy there is about 3-1/2 feet.

That's a right impressive snow trench you've got doubling as a sidewalk there, Jinx.

Jim has been engaged in a fierce battle with the plows for dominance of the sidewalk.

huh, and to think that i drove an hour and a half to take the family to flagstaff so my son could play in the snow. if only i moved to PA, he could get his fill of snow with a shovel in hand.

Builds character and increases fitness as well!

We got 24 inches. I had to take some pics...Look at the buried car that you can see form our windshield view. I feel sorry for whoever has to dig their car out of that.

Here's one I don't get. This is the well cap in my backyard that the wind somehow made a snow moat around. Mother nature works in mysterious ways, huh?
