no. they wear more pads than rugby players do. and they dont keep going like rugby players....it's far more structured and regimented by rules.

fantasy football is all about statistics made by individual players.

American football is more of an old-fashioned military exercise, or a chess game. It doesn't compare, and it isn't meant to compare, to rugby.
