It might be more effective if you don't wait until you're out of earshot especially as a preventative (preemptive) measure. ;)

Welcome back Onyx.:D

Settling in, working, trying to figure out how to afford to furnish my 2 bedroom apartment in less than 2 years...

I have the room theme/color scheme thing worked out in my head, but I have no damn furniture. Sleeping on the blowup mattress and have the computer all set up on the floor.

I'm not above going to wal-mart = quality enough for me route, but the cherrywood-colored desk/chair/bookcase set I want is $190 each, and I need two sets, one for me and one for my fiancee. So it's all about the layaway and making do right now.

Meantime, I'm in training, hoping to stay there for the full three weeks, although because I have 2.5 years experience with the HSI tools, they seem to think I'm automatically qualified for video rep. Go fig. Once trainingis over I have split days off, so no more travelling for awhile. :(

Anyway, I need ideas for the living room. As I said, the desks are going to be cherrywood colored, and the motif I want is nautical, like nets, ropes, etc. NO LIGHTHOUSES. Maps are good. I bought a victorian-type bankers lamp, in cherrywood finish, for Steve's (my finacee) desk, and 3 or 4 cherrywood finish picture frames. I'll try to find a pic of the desk and post it.

The Cellar seems to be picking up members, at a steady rate, that don't have anything to say now, but are interested enough to plan on coming back. Is that normal?
