Oh, and both of you ... it's not about winning the war. It's not about the economy. It's about who presents a more compelling, charming, and yes, CUTER image on television. Modern Politics is not about WHAT you have to say, but how good you look while you're saying it.
Much the same as with other entertainers...

Dubya who ran against Mr. Charisma himself? I thought it was obvious enough not to need further clarification.
Equally strong points could be made for and against your theory.

FOR: The people made their voices known to their state electorates, and in the end, there were more electorates for Bush than Gore.

AGAINST: More people voted for Gore than Bush.

How do you think Jesse Ventura became a governor? Political acumen? Pshaw!
Well, true. We now know (particularly Warch) how great "the Mind" was.

But I still think the economy issue plays the best. Look at our last several presidential elections.

I was 4 then. It seems safe to say that I don't really remember the start of it. I do recall writing a letter to the current Bush, though. Something along the lines of "this seems kinda silly".
time.

So what you're saying is that your phone's been wiretapped for the past 14 years. :eek3:

I would have been 9 at the time. I don't remember much, other than making christmas cards to send to the troops in school and being mad when my cartoons where cancelled in favor of war coverage which my mother wouldn't let me see.
