I was wondering about that, maybe a water issue or they're pouring concrete and paving the whole area?

The reason they wanted to raise the scale is that the Scale was Originally Planned to be 1' Above grade( for drainage ) , at steel mills they Grind up Slag and start pouring it on the ground , Grade it , let 200,000 lbs truck run over it add some more slag , grade it , etc,,, until they end up with a Basically Stable road , but it still Needs grading and they Are ALL ways adding more slag and rock ,
This and a few other scales in the area have ended up a few inches to a foot Below grade , so every thing Drains TO the scale and it packs Up in Mud that May as well be cement ( Slag , Lime stone dust , and Gumbo Mud ) .
This is the Last scale I Have to deal with in this Area that has this Problem ,
The customer wanted it done Quick and Cheap, Now If the welders would Just Get their Pantys OUT of a WAD , we could Proceed .

Below ended up on a few welders Tool Boxes

Today, like every day, I did a bunch of crap. But I made one of our people really excited when I sent her on a business trip to France.

I measured Disturbance Rejection. Of a 40dB swing, from 1Hz to 10kHz.

Meh. I've been working in dB (log) space for a 12 years now. It just takes time.

That's awesome :)
