I've been using it for a couple of days now with no problems. I've set it as my default browser.

i found it, in the top right theres spanner to access controls, it's white on grey so i didn't see it at first.

Theres not much to set though.

I want links I click on to open in a new tab, and it to switch to that tab as active.

i still like firefox better.

the only thing i've heard that makes chrome better is that it crashes better. tallest midget.

It also renders every page I visit faster than firefox. It is especially noticeable on complicated pages.

I can't get reasonable mouse gestures on Chrome. And I prefer my bookmarks as a sidebar (best use of space on a widescreen monitor, imo). So I'm still giving Firefox my business.

Yeah, I always run out of room on the screen north to south, never east to west, so I keep the crap at the top and bottom to an absolute minimum.

How do I make my bookmarks on the side?

Pie 03-06-2010 09:32 AM

You can't, on chrome.
On FF, you press ctrl+B or view->sidebar->bookmarks.

IE9 will be introduced in a week or so.;)

Is that the version where all your financial info is automatically downloaded to hackers in Russia so you don't have to go through the trouble of having a virus infect your computer first?

You're not the only one, much of corporate America does too.

It's thought to be at the center of the Chinese hacker attack a few months ago.

Avoid.

xoxoxoBruce 03-08-2010 09:38 AM

In a corporate environment you can't avoid. You haven't the ability to change anything, in most cases everything is locked down so you can't do anything but use what they give you.
