What? You never heard of seacows?????

I remember years ago when we were kids my mother gave us canned whole roast chicken and I nearly barfed when this gloopy thing slid out of the tin covered in jelly.
God knows how old it was but because of the canning process i guess the actual bones of the chicken were soft,I'm just about heaving thinking about it now :vomit:

Unless you've been clandestinely fed octopus flavored crackers by one of your kids, you really don't grasp the full import of just how fucked up other nationalities dietary oddities can get.

We only eat normal stuff in Australia. :)

I get the feeling that you will spend more time in the can than the burger if you eat it.

lumberjim 02-01-2008 12:11 AM

and that comes from an authority on having meat in the can.

Flint 02-01-2008 08:56 AM

ha ha ha ... lumberjim must have been lurking around this thread, waiting for Sheldon to post!

I'm always surprised by the things people eat/buy in other countries. I would expect that nowhere in the U.S. could you buy cheeseburgers in a can.

I am in awe! How is that possible?

Oh, I dunno. Some of us just like to lurk...

(Admittedly, 8 posts in 4 years is more "impressive" than 37 in 6.)
