True, but Sundae Girl is a super hero. :D

Today was a bit rainy, but warm enough that all my windows are open, and I went out in a t-shirt. I took some picures at the National Cathedral.

Here are some early magnolia buds:

Vampires do.

I am neither of course.

Although I do sometimes feel things so intensely that whole planets of empaths in far distant galaxies are affected.

Tagline!

Yeah, but we live in Kansas...and all that nonexistent snow and ice we were supposed to get never came..and what did, well, will probably be gone by the end of today since the sun is shining so brightly. I think the branch was as cold as it was outside 'cause I gotta tell ya, when I left friday night, there was no difference when I walked out the door.

Iggy 01-15-2007 12:50 PM

Well, when I went out last night to get my medicine it was flipping cold and there was snow everywhere. And it is only 14degreesF and it feels like 2degreesF. So I doubt the snow will melt.

There's a dirty joke in there but I'm not going to make it.

It's been nearly 70F for the last two days here in north Virginia. I'm not sure how odd that is only having lived here for a few weeks.

Dagney 01-16-2007 08:19 AM

It's odd. Very Odd. the 70's don't usually visit this side of the world until May.

Not January.

Our irises are coming up too...*sigh*

Happy Monkey 01-16-2007 09:51 AM

Today seems sorta Novemberish. I closed my windows this morning.

Trilby 01-16-2007 10:01 AM

It was 57 here yesterday and it's around 20 now. And snowing.

BigV 01-16-2007 10:27 AM

Snow. Again. Still.

Sundae 01-16-2007 10:28 AM

We're supposed to have strong winds Wednesday-Thursday. Any kind of extreme weather will make a nice change from this warm faux-spring I suppose.

Scotland will see some snow but I'm beginning to accept we (middle England) will have a snow-free winter. Sob.
