More talented than Federline? No way! :)

When I get a digital camera I'm going to start a "Post Your Plant" thread because I have no pets, no children, but I have the killerest prayer plant you ever did see.

Great idea, I have a "Grammy Plant" that is several generations old. By 'generations', I mean my clipping is a clipping from my Mother's plant, which was a clipping from HER mother's plant, which was a clipping from (you guessed it!) HER mother's plant! Hence, the Grammy part of my plant's name.

That is really cool, Hoof. My plant came from my ex b/f's mother's funeral. I asked if he wanted to keep it when I moved, but he said he knows how much I take care of it, and how he wouldn't. It's beautiful, and I realized I'm not so bad with plants as I thought.

What kind of plant is yours?

I LOVE this website. I laugh until I pee my pants. I'm that way about cats.

I've gotta change the settings on my camera so I can get a good pic of my babies and post it. I keep forgetting it is set on too hi a resolution to reduce to post.

Clodfobble 12-19-2006 08:59 PM

Nothing is too high a resolution to reduce, you can make anything smaller. Open your picture in Paint, choose Image --> Stretch/Skew and lower the percentages until it's small enough.

Why, a Grammy Plant, of course! I really have no idea...I'll have to ask my mother next time I talk w/ her.
Do you know what kind of plant yours is?

When I tried that, the colors came out all wonky. I tried it with a photo software and did a resize. Haven't tried it in Paint, though.

Sorry, don't mean to hijack cat thread. Just a quick one:

(And keep cat pics coming. I love cats)

Took me forever to find the plant. It's a Spathiphyllum, or Peace Lily. This one isn't mine, got if off website.

Dangerous hiding spot.

CaliforniaMama 12-27-2006 09:34 PM

Ouch! And I've known cats who climbed all the way into the engine compartment to keep warm . . .
