Hell to the YES!

It's going to be 90 with 2,000 % humidity by friday. Oh yes, that's what I said. 2,000 %. and if you don't believe me, you've never been to Ohio in the summer. It sucks, sucks, sucks sucks. (that last one was for emphasis). It feels like fooking Tehran or Vietnam or any other 'am you can come up with. Wilting, ass-itching, drenching weather. I shall keep my home at a respectable 65 degrees until December when I'll just open up the windows.

Oh, cost? 3400. yikes.

So what you are saying is that the low pressure system in Ohio causes the high humidity? That's actually got some merit to it.

What color Merc? Is it a man mobile, or did she get the comfy seat on the back to accompany you?

It is a metallic Rootbeer brown. They only made 1400 this year in that color.

Yea, I got the big seat in the back for me.:D Oh, and a nice back rest. :D

I'd just like to say that the savage hunter is currently kipping on the pile of spare bedding in the corner of this room (the spare room).

He wants kipski, and he knows he won't get it on my lap while I'm online. Doesn't stop him being on here during the day - just that he's more serious gone 20.00. But he won't go into my room, given the choice. Noooooo, he's gotta be spitting distance.

Feeling much love for the babba today. And it is making me happy.

OH! Almost forgot to say - got my prepaid credit card through today! Immediately went to Tesco to try it out. Well....
No really, I need the exercise (walk to big Tesco - 1 hour 15 min round trip) and I had to load the card with credit to activate it. I spent less than £10, on things I needed anyway. Really needed I mean, not hair-dye & pizza.
It was SO exciting, putting my card in the slot and entering my PIN number. They didn't have chip & pin last time I had a card.

I've been letting Gaines out at night. I wake up a few times a night anyway, and check the door to see if he's back yet. I don't know what he's doing out there, but I hope he doesn't try to catch the big snapping turtle I keep seeing around.

An old school friend got in touch :) havent spoken in years and years. Good ol' Facebook:P

She sounds really happy. Working freelance as a designer (she always was an arty bugger *chuckles*) married with a gorgeous 3 year old son. She wants to get together (with a couple of other old schoolies) for a drink. Sounds like a plan! Just need to sort out overnight arrangements as they're all still on the other side of the Pennines.

Also heard (again Facebook) from my old Maths teacher. He's retired now and about to be a Grandad for the first time. Bad arthritis, but other than thathe sounds pretty chilled with life. He's been rebuilding classic motors. *Smiles* He used to terrorise the class....but I babysat his kid, so I knew he was a pussycat really lol. Got mega kudos for not being scared of him :P

Shawnee123 06-16-2009 08:23 PM

Very cool, Dana.

I babysat for two different teachers' kids. My mom showed me a picture (from the Strawberry Festival!) in the newspaper of little red-headed girl triplets (maybe two years old, a little less?) who are the children of one of those little kids I used to babysit! What?

:)
