It is! i do it while listening to the lamentations/grotesque-sugar-sweet cliches at meetings!!!

I can get a lot done in an hour of sheer fucking boredom.

I have to be doing something with my hands pretty much all the time; the three tall skinny ones are on the backs of bookmarks from study groups at work, drawn over the course of one-hour weekly meetings learning Java. I started at the bottom and worked my way up.

I was totally missing the scale. That is cool stuff.

Happy Monkey 02-18-2013 10:25 AM

Oh - I may have been misleading with "bookmarks". They are each half of a regular sheet of paper. About 4x11.

I find mine is a sort of hypergraphia.

I don't write, though, so I guess it's hyperdoolelia.

As a child, I would draw prohibitively elaborate mazes.

Whatever this is in the DSM, my daughter has it.

Clodfobble 02-23-2013 06:30 AM

Well it ain't Aspergers, because that doesn't exist anymore. :) I'm gonna go with Labrynthine Hypergraphia. (No it's not real.)

Undertoad 02-23-2013 07:03 AM

I also did that as a youngster

Spencer went through a maze phase....and I remember getting a pad of graph paper from grampy for making them myself, too.
