An amazing channel on YouTube.

Every once in a while, I find myself going through my YouTube history trying to figure out what combination of videos I have watched that is causing the unwanted suggestions I am getting, and then deleting those videos from my history.

A week or so ago, there was that video of the parking lot mishap where the truck driver hit the adjacent truck as he was pulling out of his spot. That led to some other fail video I watched, and before I knew it, there were all sorts of horrific death and mayhem videos being offered up to me. I'm not so interested in snuff films. Thanks anyway, Google. So I had to go back and start deleting viewed video history. Same thing with some rare color WW2 footage I watched not so long ago.

It's fun to watch mishaps where nobody is getting killed. I was watching a fail video of trees being cut down. Pretty funny watching all these trees coming down on houses or parked trucks, but as the video continued, they started getting to the widow makers. No, I don't want to see a tree landing on someone. Even an idiot who did it to themselves. Delete.

Six minutes of sanding, cleaning, and painting.

With some nice music.

Gravdigr 08-02-2016 07:59 AM

Cool.

glatt 08-02-2016 08:46 AM

They got paid to do that.

Dedicated to Gravdigr. I think he is the only other person on this site who will understand the artistic beauty

Huh?

Big Sarge 08-03-2016 10:27 AM

I forgot Fargon has the same art appreciation level as Gravdigr and I. Would you believe they received a $489,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts? I can't get a VA cardiac referral scheduled but I have this to watch.

Well no; and who told you that;

because they are actually Canadians

(and that kind of explains it anyway)

US Army WTF! sent an email stating they had received the grant for a US tour.

Undertoad 08-03-2016 03:57 PM

Based on searching the grant system at apps.nea.gov/grantsearch/, I believe that between 2004 and 2015, six US-based arts organizations were given NEA grants on the order of $10-20,000, for events and programs that included the Chouinard company, typically as one of several dance troupes. I welcome corrections from your source.

Big Sarge 08-03-2016 06:21 PM

Well, egg on my face. I took their message on face value. Could they possibly be referencing an upcoming tour?
