frankly, it startles me a bit to suddenly realize that the person I am talking to is a minor.

I have been caught off guard by this as well. It explains many of the responses I see and positions taken on various issues, not a bad thing mind you, but it does place things in a bit more of a perspective.

I count a grand total of...

two minors here.

that doesnt exactly count as "many" by any means...

Well you have that right...

everyone is older and has more experience about everything than you..

Good job, that is a first step.

Ibram is very mature for his age Merc. He in no way acts like a normal 16 year old. You should stop caring about age and start looking at the facts and opinions he has to offer. Just because he is young doesn't mean he is wrong, you can still learn from him.

Good advice (not really, don't flatter yourself)... I can learn from him what I can learn from any teenager....

Hmmmm.....

Cool! thanks for the insight!

And you have met him in real life...... ??? how many times?

You have met his wonderful parents???

You know him personally???

Great. I respect your respect for him.

Ibby 04-24-2007 11:10 PM

Trolling for what??? you??

Relax son... don't get all upset. We are having a conversation here.

piercehawkeye45 04-24-2007 11:17 PM

I'm not going to get into an argument about this with you. You obviously have no respect for me or anyone of my age so I might as well be talking to a wall.

Good idea. Quit while you have your wits about you...:D

piercehawkeye45 04-24-2007 11:22 PM

You in no way hurt my confidence Merc, actually, you probably do the opposite.

freshnesschronic 04-24-2007 11:23 PM

Hey! It's one of my unpopular opinions!

As one gets older they get more arrogant!
