Well, your "join date" is earlier than mine ;)

BTW, your sig reminds me of a quote from a book I recently re-read:

“Life is difficult. This is a great truth, one of the greatest truths. It is a great truth because once we truly see this truth, we transcend it. Once we truly know that life is difficult --- once we truly understand and accept it --- then life is no longer difficult. Because once it is accepted, the fact that life is difficult no longer matters.”
― M. Scott Peck, The Road Less Traveled

Yeah, Griff's sig stays in my head and helps keep me saner than I would otherwise be sometimes.

I've always liked the simple version we had in the military:

Life is hard, then you die.

Got an email from him a couple days ago. He's alive, at any rate.

Rates are good - pulse rate, respiratory rate … even if they're not quite what you'd like them to be.

Glinda ain't been around for while, I've noticed...

She's prolly whooping it up now that her asshole neighbor is gone.

Hola muchachos!

I'm at my squirellfriend's house and she has a good interweb connextion so I'm saying hi.

Got a job as a carpenter back in may. it has helped my mental health to have a job to go to and a paycheck at the end of the week even if it's just enough to cover expenses without ever getting ahead. At least I'm not falling behind.

So the Inch is now 6'-3" three inches more than me. The mm is 62" and gaining.

he's in 10th grade and she's in 7th. it seems just the other day they were tiny little knee biters. the inch ha gotten into mountain bike racing and just generally mountain biking every minute he's awake.

She's more a brainiac; "Ugh I hate math. It's so boring." 98 avg. grade

What's smarter than a counting dog? a spelling bee!

I'll try and get here more often and catch up. I miss you guys and hope everyone is doing well

monster 10-26-2019 08:42 PM

6'??? holymfincow, footman! good to see you :)

corrected after rereading 6" is still way more than an Inch should be, though ;)
