He only made one earlier post. But, yeah. Benefit of doubt until the next offence.

Turtleknee 05-06-2004 11:31 AM

What can Brown do for you?

jaguar 05-06-2004 11:36 AM

awwwww that was getting fun, even if it was shooting fish in a barrel.

MAdMoNKEY 05-06-2004 12:27 PM

I went to Brown, but all I have to show for it is this ugly t-shirt.

Katkeeper 05-06-2004 02:49 PM

Ugly, brown t-shirt?

I somehow doubt that davepen takes it as seriously as we seem to. it wasnt a huge transgression, after all. just a little attitude.

davepen, invite your friend to create his own account, so we can have a proper argument with him.

and did you really go to brown, or was he making that up too?

lumberjim 05-06-2004 04:49 PM

the cellar dwellars are apparently hungry for a good flame fest.

hey jaguar! i've been meaning to take you out back and rough you up a bit.....you game? nancy?

elSicomoro 05-06-2004 08:07 PM

Hey, stoopid, ain't you got some sauerkraut-burners to pawn off on people?

jaguar 05-06-2004 11:24 PM

/puts hat on backwards

lumberjim 05-07-2004 12:41 AM

DanaC 05-07-2004 05:47 AM

Jaguar......is it true? Are you a closet American?

hollyoake 05-07-2004 06:54 AM

i can imagine life to be quite entertaining if this sort of thing is a regular occurence...

BrianR 05-07-2004 08:17 AM

Yep. Happens all the time...

I think you're really french.

jdbutler 05-07-2004 01:19 PM

Whats with the "VD" thing over the "bite me" note?

jaguar 05-07-2004 01:20 PM

VD is the top half of the numberplates of the Swiss Canton of Vaudoise which is where I live.

jdbutler 05-07-2004 01:22 PM

Oh...excuse my gutter mind.

jaguar 05-07-2004 01:23 PM

In Switzerland it's illegal not to list your STDs on your numberplate ;)

oh, c'mon, jag. You'll need to be more creative and original if we're going to do this properly. Maybe you should take a remedial flame war course first? I can't carry the whole thing if your heart isn't in it. That's just abuse. Should I pick on someone my own size?

jaguar 05-07-2004 02:33 PM

True, that was fairly second rate, picking on someone your own size might involve farmyard animals though you fatassed halfwitted american with a tenuous grip on the concept of grammar who is in no position to criticize his peers on the better side of the atlantic. Hell you probably even use windows.

Hey, we're proud to be American! Even tho' some may be fat-assed, there are not many half-wits in the cellar, with the exception of paranoid, of course.;)

jaguar 05-07-2004 03:02 PM

you're right, i'm starting to wonder if my heart is really in this.

Oh, there are plenty of half-wits here. Just stick around awhile. :)

DanaC 05-07-2004 04:25 PM

Yeah ....Hi

yeah, the last one was a good one, but i guess if there;s nothing to fight about, it just seems contrived, you winkie smoker. :)

Elspode 05-08-2004 12:27 AM

Oh, fuck it...just let it drop. Save it for when you really need it. Think of it as conserving your insult/sarcasm/humor/flame chi.

i guess i'll give you the benefit of the doubt because the earlier posts you made were relatively normal.

Screen name? I've never been to this site in my life. Were it not for all the emails notifying me of my posts, I would not have known this site even exists.

Furthermore, *I* didn't make any earlier posts.

zippyt 05-08-2004 01:09 AM

who was it then , the mouse in your pocket ????

davepen 05-08-2004 01:31 AM

I've already apologized to you community about what took place.

I don't know any of you, and while I am sorry about this working eveyone into a frenzy, frankly I don't care what you think.

This actually had nothing to do with my departmental laptop, or me, as anyone can subscribe to this site and post whatever they want...specify a username and email address and off you go.

It just so happens in this case, my 'friend' utilized extremely poor judgement and used my email address as a poor attempt at humor.

He already knows this was a poor judgement call, and because he works for me, will realize this for some time to come.

To whomever your webmaster is--please delete this account.

Thanks.

jaguar 05-08-2004 02:01 AM

Problem solved I guess, UT, do as the man says =D

Two questions remain though: How did he know the password and how did the account get activated.

xoxoxoBruce 05-08-2004 06:36 AM

The laptop would log him in automatically, wouldn't it?

Ahhh, the power of the Cellar.;)

well, if it was this "coworker" that created the account, it's him we're talking to, and you're just some confused putz whose email he pilfered. feel free to bugger off.

as for the "coworker"......c'mon, bitch. set up your own account and lets throw down. we can talk about liberals and what not.

or are you chiiiicken?

bwawk.

xoxoxoBruce 05-08-2004 06:12 PM

No, no, Jim. The coworker sets up the account using this guys email and the department laptop. He also sets it up so when everytime anyone posts to that thread it triggers an email to the laptop. Then he makes a couple smartass posts and gives the laptop back to his boss.

Naw, kick his ass, Jim. :)
