Finally at 4:30PM, my sis-in-law came to pick up her son and saw me lying in bed. After inquiring about my symptoms, she mentioned that I could have gas pain. Hmm....I didn't think so but my sister went to get me some gas-x. Pain gone but bloating still there. I haven't tried walking around so I don't know if the meds fixed it but at least I can sit and not have to lie down. So, I should've taken Gas-X rather than bearing the pain all day. Ugh! Btw, I took Mylanta this morning. Didn't work, so who knew.

Is your pain in the front of your abdomen or in your back? Is it upper back or lower? Upper back can be cardiac or gall bladder, lower kidney. Front lower right, appy. Front epigastric, gall bladder. All could be. You need to see a doctor. I hope you feel better soon.

Isn't that sort of issue normally associated with IBS?

monster 04-19-2011 08:57 PM

Irritating Bitch Syndrome?

Gas-X is an anti-gas while Mylanta is both an antacid and anti-gas. That's why when my sis-in-law suggested I have gas pain, I told her I took Mylanta this morning and it didn't work. Don't know why Gas-X helped relieve the pain. Stomach discomfort still here, just less pain and I can walk around some and sit to browse the Cellar. :D As for skipping meals, yeah, I know the feeling. I used to have a really bad case of it. But now, it's not as bad, just really depends on the day.

The pain is in the upper, front of the abdomen, right below the ribs. Someone told me ulcer. :p:

monster 04-19-2011 10:23 PM

gall bladder

Tulip 04-19-2011 10:25 PM

morethanpretty 04-27-2011 11:08 PM

Do we have a goodnight one of these?

morethanpretty 04-27-2011 11:18 PM

found it!

monster 04-29-2011 05:35 AM

Good morning, cellar. Yes, I got up an hour ago to watch the Royal Wedding with my daughter. Catherine walked in to my favorite anthem, Parry's I Was Glad :) And so far, they have played some of my other favorites.

DanaC 04-29-2011 05:37 AM

i have it on the radio. Basically, because I only ever listen to Radio4, and they're covering it. It's too low to be audible without actually concentrating. But I like the background hum of radio when I am pottering around online.

Sundae 04-29-2011 05:37 AM

I'm looking forward to Jerusalem.
I will sing it in my cracked phlegmy voice.

But I always switch octaves with abandon anyway, so that's just an excuse.

Doesn't Camilla look good?
Far better than the Queen - old Sunny D!

Going back downstairs after the sermon to watch with the 'rents & guest. Just taking advantage of the boring bit to keep up with you heathens.

monster 04-29-2011 05:42 AM

ditto

I love Jerusalem too

Good Morning! It's a hockey day! last 7:30 game of the season! Thank goodness it isn't an away game. 5:30 is so not my preferred alarm time and I did not sleep well :( ah well.......

sexobon 05-14-2011 05:52 AM

You can micro-sleep while driving there. Just have someone make sure you're fully awake before you try to park.

Got text at 6:56 apparently they got there and the rink was locked , no further messages so assume someone turned up.

I of course also got up at 5:30 to make tea, and had an hour to kill before starting on the next Hockey run.( 10 am but 50 miles away!)

Man there is nothing on TV at that time, just a few kids cartoons, even the History channel is just paid programming. Caught half an episode of 'Married with Children' which did manage to make me LOL.

monster 05-14-2011 09:11 AM

Arena opened just after 7...... then no refs. What a start to the day. I wonder if the soccer we're missing got rained off?

Goo mornings are those with sleepy goo/crustys in our eyes.

In OUR eyes? What? Are you one half of a Siamese twin or just using the royal "our"?

That's what I've been telling myself ever since I got home from my 3 hour Saturday stint at work a few hours ago...now I am going to finish that assignment. I'm going to start now, really I am, yes, really, like, right now.

Lucky.
Been up since 4am, couldn't sleep any longer. Fucking sore all over, but especially my neck and shoulders. I'm at work, overloaded on caffeine because I took Excedrin and had coffee, so now, not only am I sore, but hands are visibly shaky and weak.

monster 05-29-2011 07:59 AM

Sounds like you need the Baaaad Morning thread

Clodfobble 05-29-2011 01:34 PM

Clodfobble 05-29-2011 10:36 PM

It's all the same, just hotter.

footfootfoot 05-30-2011 01:48 PM

I believe that is why god invented beer.

Lola Bunny 06-02-2011 08:09 AM
