And the winner of the Ugliest Arts and Crap for 2006 is:

wolf 12-21-2006 10:08 AM

I make a bear that looks very similar to that, only I refuse to crochet the little shirt into it.

The girl bear version does have a skirt on, though.

Ooops, sorry.

wolf 12-21-2006 11:12 AM

I think the mouse is pretty ugly too, but I know the love that goes into one of those.

Thank goodness you cover its little girl-bear-private parts.

It could be. I have some camo yarn sitting in the to do basket.

I'm working on two afghans intermittmently at the moment, one knitted, one crocheted.

lookout123 12-21-2006 11:56 PM

you amaze me wolf. firearms and knitting. you are a true ren a sans woman.

wolf 12-22-2006 12:18 AM

If I ever get back to making them, I'll send you a doily. I have some other things to finish first though.

Would you prefer it to be scented with lavendar, jasmine, Hoppes #9, or Marlboros?

SteveDallas 12-22-2006 08:37 AM

I can just imagine wolf at A. C. Moore or Michael's asking the woman at the flower-arranging department if she knows whether the last yarn shipment had any of the camo in it.

After working on the two afghans, are you going to work on two iraqis?

How LJ bullys Santa , In handwriting.

Letter To Santa, A

Dear Santa Claus,

It has been brought to my attention by one of our operatives that you have secured for yourself, and your interests, a very lucrative position in the toy and game industry. Normally, my associates and I would not involve ourselves in self-exploitation schemes such as yours. However, it is quite clear to us that you have over-stepped your bounds and are coming into my family’s territories. That I cannot let you do.

Mr. Claus, we’ve known each other for many years, and we have no problem with your operations in the North Pole. But, uh, Consuela tells me that you have expanded your deliveries to the entire south side, most of the north side, and everywhere but the Jewish neighborhoods.

I understand, Mr. Kringle, that you and I share many interests. We both make lists. We both know who’s been naughty and who’s been nice. Have I mentioned, that, uh, red is also my favorite color? This year when you make your rounds, I hope you’ll take time stop by the house for a cup of coffee and some cookies, so that, uh, we can discuss an offer I know you can’t refuse. I know how much you like cookies. I am sure you will do this thing I ask out of respect, but I would be remiss if I did not remind you of the tragic demise of our mutual friend and confidant, Frosty T. Snowman. I regret that it was necessary to teach Frosty a lesson.

Sincerely, and with warmest wishes for you and the lovely Mrs. Claus,

Lumberjim

P.S.
It would be most unfortunate for you to wake up one morning to find the heads of eight tiny reindeers in bed with you. I am sure you are a reasonable man, and this will not be necessary.

lumberjim 12-22-2006 12:37 PM

you want me

Elspode 12-22-2006 12:47 PM

Yeah. She wants you...in concrete galoshes.

Or, she could be sticking your vodoo-doll image with a pin.

OK...someone's been reading too much mills & boon...or they're still in the school yard. lol

Trilby 12-23-2006 08:19 AM

It's a joke, Ali.

Or are you just being an online bully? lol.

I've never heard of mills & boon so, no; I haven't been reading too much of them.

Sundae 12-23-2006 08:38 AM

Does Mills & Boon in Oz have raw sexual turn-ons? In the UK I think we're still stuck at fluttering sensations and breathlessness...

SteveDallas 12-23-2006 09:01 AM

Does that include heaving bosoms? Or is that considered a discreet sub-category of breathlessness?

Well, if breathlessness doesn't include heaving bosoms, it's pretty lame breathlessness. The heaving bosoms should also be threatening to spill out of the raven-haired minx's gown!

I have man ideas too...like how bulging the codpiece should be, how hairy the chest and how strong and thrusting the buttocks.

Trilby 12-23-2006 09:09 AM

Things that must also be addressed: how rich and cruel and sexually deviant is Lord Longcox? And how poverty-stricken, desperate and sumptuously beautiful Lady EaseLay is.

Is she a voodoo priestess or is she sexually frustrated for bad boys?

SteveDallas 12-23-2006 09:12 AM

Thanks, Brianna. I knew I could count on you to educate me. :dunce:

Trilby 12-23-2006 09:14 AM

Keep being nice, SD, and you MIGHT get re-instated at Brianna's House of Pleasure! ;)

skysidhe 12-23-2006 09:34 AM

I am probably embarrassing the hell out of someone. I hope it's not me.

SteveDallas 12-23-2006 09:37 AM

I dunno SG. I haven't read one since I was about 15yrs old and back then it was just pounding hearts and 'giving in to the passion of the night' type shit.

footfootfoot 12-23-2006 08:38 PM

listen up you wankers! I want your farking lunch money and I want it now. Put it in the tip jar at the bottom of the page if you know what's good for you.

Otherwise, your collective ass is grass.

I'll see you all in the parking lot after fifth period.

Aliantha 12-23-2006 08:48 PM

I can't get to the parking lot. It's too far away.

Go fuck yourself wanker!

SteveDallas 12-23-2006 08:49 PM

I don't have lunch money... mom always insists on making me a tofu and organic goat cheese sandwich with bean sprouts. You want that??

DucksNuts 12-25-2006 02:59 AM

ahem,

I've missed the *real* topic by a few days, but thats never stopped me before.

I dont think you are a bully LJ, I have seen real (or what I believe to be real) remorse when you have said something that inadvertently caused pain.

That said, you are tireless when you believe someone is bullshitting, but i like that :)

Carry on with the mouse shit!

Oh, did I miss something??? Wolf a bully????

zippyt 12-25-2006 03:08 AM

in my humble opinion
Wolf ain't a bully,
Wolf is Wolf ,

and WOH BE TO THEM that makes Wolf put on her gloves !!!

DucksNuts 12-25-2006 03:29 AM

meh, ok, I dont see that as bullyish behavior. Forums need people like you, so the members good nature dont get taken advantage of. I've seen people get really caught up in woven stories, to the point where they have handed over goods n $$'s to fellow members out of the goodness of their hearts. Which is great if the recipient is legit.

Madman 12-28-2006 10:38 AM

Being a Bully

I've been a member on a few forums (< 10 ? - something like that). For the most part, bullies are far and few between. Regular members generally catch on rather quickly and will either put them in their place or totally ignore them until they get the hint.

Complete radicals will usually get banned. Arguments, or verbose discussions, when opinions get heated up are normally quelled by other members "breaking the ice" (so to speak).

I haven't been a member here very long so I don't really know anyone (vice versa). My observation is that damn near everyone gets along rather well. Not a utopia, but there is a genuine respect - maturity here.

There are opinions, but what the hell, we are all human (I think) and we have opinions.

Anyway, I'm done kissing everyones ass now. :grouphug: So this forum lurker is going to :bolt:
