Haven't had a chance to say it yet, but congrats, UT! I am one who has always wanted the experience of playing or singing with a band, but never found the right opportunity. I believe you will have a lot of fun with this.

Sadly the Oct 28th gig has been cancelled. Actually there was a scheduling mixup. We think it may be rescheduled.

This is because I happen to own ALL the high toms in the world .

Who handles the, :unsure: uh, "management" duties of this band?
I'd hate to think there might be future "mixups" regarding, say, "how much we got paid" or "how much bar tab was comped" . . .

If a choice gig was to be lied about it would not be Traxx Sports Pub. Now, if we're not opening and closing for Rev. Bob Levy, Shuli, and Sal the Stockbroker on the 12th of next month, there will be a problem, because that will be a choice gig.

This is about KNOWING you would be rockstars in the real bit of yer brain , and then going through all the phases of still KNOWING you will be rockstars in the non-real part of yer brain , interspersed with REALLY REAL bits . And now you know that you are just banal .

Bri! I'm surprised you're not at the "motivation" seminar at the Nutter Center today. I snaked out of it, though a lot of coworkers went, saying I felt I should hold down the fort here. One girl called and said it was like some kind of right wing religious cult. Another emailed me and said it was awesome. You can guess which person has more credibility with me.

getting ready to go see UT slap the thick strings.

Hey. Phobic rocked. Rhythm section especially. Ut and the drummer are nice and tight. The singer had good prescence, and axeman can wail. I shot about 3 or 4 songs on my dvd cam. I'll convert them to mp4 and email them to UT so he can Utube them if he wants to.

We had a good time. it was a cozy little joint with very enthusiastic patrons, and I have to say that the band went over really well. Everyone was enjoying it and dancing and all. I wish i could have stayed longer, as it was heating up around the time I had to go.....to be here at work at 8:30am :(
