Yes!!! I was wondering who he reminded me of in those pics :)

plthijinx 01-09-2012 05:47 PM

y'all crack me the fuck up!!!

kerosene 01-09-2012 05:56 PM

So far, 2 out of 3 dwellars think you look like Chris Cooper. Maybe we should do a poll. Then someone in the charts and graphs department can give us a visual...pie graph, maybe?

Pete Zicato 01-09-2012 05:58 PM

3 out of 4. That was the point of my thank you to foot. I knew philthy reminded me of someone, but couldn't think who.

it 01-09-2012 05:59 PM

don't listen to them philthy - Chris Cooper and Cat Stevens wish they could look like us!

plthijinx 01-09-2012 06:03 PM

Me, RFN. New hair color - blue-black, in case you wondered, lol. Also fresh from the gym...so zilch in the makeup department.

zippyt 01-09-2012 09:57 PM

Looken Good Stormy !!!

classicman 01-09-2012 10:44 PM

... very good. I prefer the natural look. :)

DucksNuts 01-10-2012 04:53 AM

You boys all say that....but I dont believe you!

DanaC 01-10-2012 05:15 AM

Awesome pics Stormie. That second one is really neat. Have you done some sort of light effect on it? It looks really arty.

Oops. I didn't recognise F3's pic as Chris Cooper.

Yes, I played with it in photoshop. Removed most of the color and increased the contrast. Just messing around

Big Sarge 01-10-2012 09:48 AM

Very fetching! I like it

Here I am screwing up again. I got the Tahoe stuck today. That's me laying in the mud hooking the cable

HungLikeJesus 01-10-2012 05:07 PM

Didn't you call that number on the back of the car?

classicman 01-10-2012 08:35 PM

^^^FTW^^^

Griff 01-11-2012 05:40 AM

Next time throw your car mats under your wheels and nobody will be the wiser. I come from a long line of cover-up artists. Seriously, how can an SUV get stuck there?

Big Sarge 01-11-2012 06:27 AM

facyory pursuit version. lowered body and soft tires. faster than a crown vic, but a pure gas hog.

TheMercenary 01-12-2012 07:51 AM

traceur, your long hair makes you look like a Pacific Islander, a Samoan or Tongan.

TheMercenary 01-12-2012 07:53 AM

Looking good all!

see the resamblance? if only Khal Drogo was allowed to make it across the narrow sea into victory, sattle down to grow fat, who would he look like?! me with a crazy hair day.

...except that i have short hair now.
things change faster then pictures.

TheMercenary 01-12-2012 02:42 PM

So what is your heritage? The long hair look fit you well.

it 01-12-2012 03:36 PM

i'm Israeli. my heritage is mixed Lithuanian jewish and spanish jewish.

and the long hair is a funny story:
my xwife, talented and extraordinarily coordinated little fuck that she is, was capable of giving herself haircuts. and i mean full haircuts, professional good looking haircuts... to herself.
and she used to give me haircuts too... until that one day she shaped the side of my hair in a way i didn't like and commented on, and she was never willing to do it herself again. for awhile nobody did, until one day i figured, hey, it looks so easy when she cuts her own hair, i'm sure i can do it...
i couldn't. i really really couldn't. the disaster was so bad that there was only one way for her to save it: take it all down with my beard trimmer.
it was a sad day, after about 5 years of not having a haircut since the army, it was gone.

TheMercenary 01-12-2012 03:43 PM

Grow it again man. It becomes you.

Nice to put a face to Trace.

Sundae: My face was a "full moon" about 5 lbs ago. :D

kerosene 01-12-2012 07:57 PM

Khal Drogo is hawt! I definitely think you should grow it out again.

Cookout with the kids. I think this is the first time you have seen my son, Louis. Notice how I cook my hot dogs over the fire vs the kids

Louis, Addie, & I in the "tree house". Addie says you have to be a princess and know the secret password to come in. Finally, Louis teaching Addie to shoot a .22 rifle. Addie kept all of her shots on "paper" at 10 yards. This fall the deer had better watch out.

Sundae 01-15-2012 05:34 AM

You family all look very happy.
Much joy to you and thanks for sharing.

I like the fact you are a real father, and the children (and those who are not children any more) are an inclusive family.

The fly in the ointment would be if you knocked me up.
No guns for my daughter.
Could they accept a far left sibling?

:)

Undertoad 01-15-2012 08:34 AM

we kind of knew this Sundae/Sarge flirtation would turn up difficult at some point

I'm sure, like me, they prefer their leftists unarmed.

Big Sarge 01-15-2012 08:43 AM

Actually, Bryanna didn't go because she is anti-gun/hunting. We still love her even if she is a Democrat (liberal). LOL. So Sundae, there won't be a problem at all

Sundae 01-15-2012 11:00 AM

Yay!
She'll still say "shed-yule" though.

As you learned in Elementary Shool, right?

Elspode 01-15-2012 09:58 PM

Sarge, I just want to commend you on cooking hot dogs over the fire, vs the kids.

it 01-15-2012 10:11 PM

sarge, i'll just go out and say it:
you have an adorable daughter, and a wife that looks like she can be your twin.

I think you're suffering from generational shift, traceur. You're probably looking at Sarge's son and daughter, and thinking they are Sarge and wife?

i was thinking about the two adults at the top picture lighting a fire...

those are his kids? they actually are ciblings?

limey 01-16-2012 06:12 AM

Yes. In the tree house Sarge is on the left, with his daughter Addie in the middle and son Louis on the right, as I understand it.

DanaC 01-16-2012 06:16 AM

Addie looks like she's having the most fun time.

That's it right there. That's the stuff you carry with you always. Time stretching out and all the world yours. Brother and sister at your back, Dad tending the fire. She's storing up adventures to remember.

I can still conjure those times of adventure with me, Mum and my bro. And midnight park walks with Dad, spotting owls and hedgehogs.

Open a dictionary and look under the word 'secure' and there should be a picture of a small child surrounded by attentive siblings and fun parents. That pic, up there in fact.

HungLikeJesus 01-16-2012 07:11 AM

And shooting things. You left that out.

Me here at the doctor's office. Over 2 weeks sick and today was the worst.

Big Sarge 01-16-2012 09:28 AM

Traceur - Those are my kids. LOL. My son is 28 & my daughters are 18, 15, & 4. Thanks for the compliment though. The 15 year old stayed at home

Big Sarge 01-16-2012 09:29 AM

Rich, you need to get better. We need more paleo on here.

HungLikeJesus 01-16-2012 09:31 AM

Paleo = old people?

Sundae 01-16-2012 10:36 AM

Get well soon Rich!
From that photo I diagnose solemnitis. You need to spend more time here.

Or piles, it's hard to say.

Big Sarge 01-16-2012 10:49 AM

HLJ - With regards to paleo, I was refering to his flint knapping. I'm impressed by his work. As far as old people, this board is filled with enough old women on here. Why are we stuck with all of these old crones?

HungLikeJesus 01-16-2012 10:52 AM

I didn't know Rich did flint knapping.

footfootfoot 01-16-2012 11:11 AM

Cool! Yeah Rich show us your stuff!

I am still of child-bearing age, as are many Lady Dwellars.
We just keep away from you because you like making babies a bit too much :p:

You old fox.

Big Sarge 01-16-2012 11:45 AM

Sundae, you are still ok (less than 40).

Rich: Hope you feel better soon. Hopefully the next picture is when you're all better. :D

footfootfoot 01-17-2012 08:12 AM

Rich, it's not how you feel, it's how you look! and you look...
well, you look like you don't feel well.

Get better.
