Hey els, how many people don't know what your 45-rpm adaptor is?? I bet I have a couple of the yellow plastic ones in a junk box somewhere, even though I haven't owned a turntable since college.

Dansko clogs, blue jeans, brick red V-neck cable knit sweater over a T-shirt, gold Mother's necklace, gold wedding ring, and medium gold hoop earrings.

It is a sure-fire age tester, that's for sure. Anyone over 35 knows right away what it is. Most under 35 do not know, but some do...presumably from their parents having some laying around.

It was cast after a friend of mine asked her boss to make a couple of them to sell in his jewelry store of which she is the manager. She saw me coming, that's for sure. I came into the store right after they were completed, and one was in the case. She ran over, pulled it out, and said, "Do you know what this is?" I didn't miss a beat...

A few months later, my wife was in the store, and Cammie conned her into buying it for me. As of that day, I was still the only one who knew what it was.

We got a record player for Christmas. My brothers spray painted it pink and white. We (my sisters and I) wrote our names all over it. Our first album Ray Parker Jr. "Ghostbusters" on the b side "A woman needs love, it scratched and just said over and over A woman needs, a woman needs. Good times indeed.

Aliantha 02-02-2006 05:34 PM

Just in case you forget your name? ;)

zippyt 02-02-2006 05:47 PM

well if that was so it would have to be sewn on backwards so I could look in a mirror and read it , or upside down so I could just glance down , but no its just sewn on regular so customers can read it , at least they changed our shirts from the nasty poliester striped shirts , no body has walked up to me at a gas station in a long time

zippyt 02-02-2006 05:50 PM
