A question...
If the people vote in a totalitarian, theocratic regime, that can't be voted out, is that still democratic? |
No, but I'm guessing the next round of elections is a ways off.

The funny thing about Bush's "Democracy is God" crusade, of course, is that if every country on earth were democratic, Egypt, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, and nuclear Pakistan at a very minimum would fall to al-Qaeda allies. Thoughts like that don't occur to true believers like him, I suppose. |
