Well, it seems Lou Rawls is dead. No one picked him yet....

marichiko 01-06-2006 11:23 AM

Lou Rawls
The Queen (of England)
Geraldo Rivera (he just annoys me)
Jimmy Carter (the good always die young)
Billy Graham (felled by a stray bolt of lightening while out on the golf course)
Homer Simpson (dies in domestic violence incident when Maggie pulls a knife on him)
The Easter Bunny (replaced by a USDA approved spring chick)
Willie Nelson (in shoot-out with Revenuers)
Michael Jackson (just because he SHOULD)
God (of a broken heart)

So, what do I win?

Radar 01-06-2006 12:11 PM

Man I just talked about Lou Rawls the other day. I saw him on someone else's list.

Here's my bonus pick no points. God will off Pat Robertson this year.

wolf 01-07-2006 02:15 AM

He hasn't taken Oral Roberts yet, according to the Dead People Server, so I don't know.

I think Jimmy Swaggert should have an earlier seat on the bus, though.

Griff 01-07-2006 07:35 AM

There's lots of room on the bus, seat assignment could be left to the Angel of Death.

Thank you for the dead people resource!

Crap! I remember that now. Denial is a powerful thing, I suppose.

Rock Steady 01-08-2006 01:35 PM

Late to the Party but here it is.......

Courtney Love
Red Buttons
Ernest Borgnine
Jack Klugman
Don Knotts
Fidel Castro
Harry Morgan
Phyllis Diller
Joan Fontaine
Zsa Zsa Gabor

Radar 01-08-2006 03:49 PM

Oooh Don Knotts, Jack Klugman, and Ernest Borgnine!! Nice. I thought Pyllis Diller and Zsa Zsa died years ago. Good picks. I was surprised to find out that Joan Fontaine was born in Tokyo, Japan.

marichiko 01-08-2006 05:38 PM

A bit morbid are we, Radar?

bargalunan 01-08-2006 05:53 PM

Charlton Heston (rifle suicide)
Lance Armstrong (general cancer)
Liz Taylor (cirrhosis)
George Bush (it won't happen, but it's just for my pleasure)
Muhammad Ali (sorry)
Superman (kryptonite)
Hugo Chavez (president of Venezuela kill by CIA)
Pope Benoit XIII (die in his bed)
Usama Bin Laden (we'll learn in 2006 he's already dead)
Is there still another son alive in Kennedy's family ?

Thanks. I researched this on Wikipedia. I thought half those people were gone already. Most of them were born before 1920. It's amazing how many of them have faded from memory.

The youngest of the group, Courtney was in drug rehab last year, arrested for rowdiness, and is the original Hollaback Girl. She's cruisin for a brusin.

Well, none of you geniuses gets the 15 points for Shelley Winters, RIP.

Shelley Winters, the forceful, outspoken star who graduated from blond bombshell parts to dramas, winning Academy Awards as supporting actress in "The Diary of Anne Frank" and "A Patch of Blue," has died. She was 85.

Looks like Rock Steady is the first to score points in this pool for Don Knotts, (great actor, RIP).
