Mari,

How's the new baby adjusting? I haven't had much of a chance to post lately, but saw her photos and think she is just ADORABLE!

My god, even the pets of the rich and famous can beat a murder rap. Is the palace putting out a reward to catch 'the real killer'?

Hi Dagney! Thanks for asking! The new baby is doing great! She and Rikki the kitten are now the best of friends and they are playing together - so cute! She is settling in well and is as smart as she is cute. She is a wonderful dog!

I'm glad Cyclefrance cleared up the mystery for us. It was hard for me to believe that a dog specifically bred to have a sunny and gentle disposition the way Corgi's are would turn killer. I can believe it of the bull terriers of Princess Anne. She and they both look quite disdainful and arrogant in the pic which accompanied the article.

Yeah, pay someone enough and you can beat a murder rap in ANY country! LOL! :headshake

The lovely Princess Anne has beaten EVERY rap in England except murder, it seems. She never obeyed any traffic regulations in her life, but the police there are helpless to do anything about her. She will not even stop if they attempt to pull her over for speeding (which is at least once a week), so they write her up and I don't know if she even is required to pay the fines. She certainly has never spent any time being booked or lost her license. Royalty is one thing, but it seems that showing contempt for the laws of the land (which the Queen is sworn to uphold) is not exactly the best PR for the house of Winsor.

Interesting how much the Princess resembles her dogs' profile in that photo, isn't it? Or maybe it is the other way around :D They say people and their pets tend to look amazingly similar after many years. Does the Queen have the Corgi features too?

Tonchi, I don't think the queen looks anywhere near as cute as a Corgi, do you? I feel quite sorry for her Corgi's, actually. Having to soldier on in the royal dysfunctional family would be enough to make ANY dog gnash its teeth!
