Wow, pretty tame posts compared to what I had imagined were pages and pages of commentary from Radar and TW, etal.

From my also limited knowledge, my thoughts are:

It's pretty decent of Israel to return the land to the Palestinians, but instead of being decent about it, Hamas is going to take this as giving in, and the violence is going to ramp as they demand more of Israel.

I read a news article where several Palestinian factions were actually trying to help relocate Israeli settlers, because they (the Palestinians) knew what it's like to get thrown out of their homes and settlements. I thought it a sad but nice gesture.

And when Hamas starts their shit again, since all the Israelis are gone from there, bomb the crap out of it in retaliation.
