I was eating dinner with my parents when I heard that Johnny C had died. We were watching TV, and I go, "Damn, that would've been 33 points". They go O.o

I gotta spend less time in here.

Looks like the pope's a shoe-in. They just put a feeding tube into him. They should take it out -- he and Terri could race. sorry :(

Jerry Falwell's critical, too.

wolf 03-30-2005 12:45 PM

critical of what? ;) :D

Happy Monkey 03-30-2005 12:50 PM

Everyone.

I can't believe we don't have more lists. Granted, it's a bit morbid, but it's also fun.

wolf 03-30-2005 01:11 PM

I want to do this, but haven't had the time to give it the consideration that I need to. (which means checking to see if the folks I pick are still alive.)

I know Abe Vigoda's on my list, but haven't given much thought to anyone else.

The Pope is just too darn easy a pick.

ooh ..

Dan Rather

Comedian Mitch Hedberg died a few days ago. I hadn't heard of him until now, but he was a Steven Wright-esque one-liner kind of guy, and apparently beloved by many. Google his name and you will find jokes. Damn. I missed out totally.

an example.

I tried to walk into a Target -but I missed. I think the entrance to Target should have people splattered all around. Finally, I get in and the guy says: Can I help You? I said no -just practicing.
shit. how did i not hear of this guy?

edited to add a comprehensive list of his jokes

Clodfobble 04-06-2005 01:07 PM

IMHO, his actual jokes were funny, but his delivery was annoying as all hell. He had this stoner cadence thing going on which made him completely unwatchable for me.

Radar 12-10-2005 06:10 PM

Sadly, I got 35 more points today for Richard Pryor. It's times like this I wish I lost. :(
