I tried to post a pic of my bike here but it got lost in the ether and now I can't repost it and I don't know where the Cellar put the original.
If anyone can help me, I'll share my bike pics... |
rename the pic , you only have to change one letter
|
Sometimes renaming won't work. I've had one, I had to make a slight alteration to the actual picture and rename to get it accepted. I thought that was strange but that's the only way I could upload it.

Stab in the dark Brian, '85, 1000cc. Don't really know my hondas outside the 600sF/RRs
Just noticed they released the S2R, 800cc version of the S4R, initial reviews are damn positive. Intersting. Cost me about as much as a 2nd hand S4R and some very, very purty new colour schemes... http://blackstatic.net/S2R-1.jpg http://blackstatic.net/S2R-2.jpg It's all about the arse: http://blackstatic.net/S4Rarse.jpg |

Nice headrest.
A dozen or more years ago, General Motors did an engineering exercise that was the same idea except with the single wheel in front. The cornering forces (read speeds) they were generating were considerably higher than any bike. |
You missed Jag. It's a 1982 750. sez so on the side...hence the V45 and not V65 which is the larger engine. In 1985 they redesigned the engine to be a 700 to comply with new import tariffs. All they did was slip in a cylinder sleeve and changed the oiling path a little.
To get this particular beast back on th eroad, I need to figure out where the clutch is leaking pressure and fix it. I wish for a cable clutch. Brian |
Well I did say I didn't have a clue what I was talking about ;)
I know that's going to be quoted back to me one day. |

Methinks there's a leak in the master cylinder somewhere leaking back into the reservoir.
Either that or I forgot to tighten the clutch line after I took it out to inspect it. No stoppages, no leaks found. A slightly corroded Zerk fitting but that shouldn't be the problem. I will likely replace it anyway because it's only $.50 at the hardware store. Mostly I'm waiting until it's warm outside again in April or so before I get back at it. My Seca 750 only needs new turn signals and an exhaust so I may do that first and go after the Sabre later. At least I know what's wrong with the Yamaha and can fix it easily, if not cheaply. Then I can sell it and get that Shadow 750 I've been wanting. ;) Brian |

More work from the guy who did the Aprilia concept:
