BTW, was it my imagination or did O'Reilly sexually harrass Ann Coulter on the air. He was commenting on her appearance on the cover of her book (How to Talk to a Liberal) which has her in a leather (pvc?) top and skirt. He started to imply that she might have a dominant streak while she insisted she was a pussycat. He continued to explore the topic while she looked uncomfortable.

Of course, being a good conservative, maybe she doesn't believe that there is such a thing as sexual harrassment. The look on her face was interesting.

Well, I believe we have in-house the pre-eminent expert on Ann's proclivities, if he wants to speak up.... ;)

5 Min 22 Seconds of O'Reilly talking sex with a dozen guests.

Context is for suckers! That being said, I'm willing to bet that a lot of the extreme right has repressive issues to deal with, either in themselves or (especially) in their children. Ronny Reagan Jr is a leftist, Cheney's daughter is gay, Bill O'Reilly is obviously sexually frustrated, Dubya has his past issues with coke, booze and such, and is Rush even out of rehab yet? Such *extreme* conservatism tends to result in severe repression of the id, which ends up manifesting itself as a disorder like the above, and heavily conservative parenting will either result in heavily conservative children, or children that rebel (as kids do) and end up being the exact opposite of what the parents wanted in them.

The worst part of reading that quote was not just hearing O'Reilly's voice in my head saying it, but hearing it as very straight-laced, matter-of-fact, flat and without any emotion. I have a hard time believing that man is capable of passion at all. One is reminded of Henry Rollins:

(paraphrased) "And these guys talk about 'straight sex', and it seems so dull, so Republican to me. 'Alright, honey, now we're going to have some straight sex. Are you properly lubricated? Oh well, no matter. We're going to have straight sex. Gee, that was some great straight sex, now it's time for some straight sleep."

(read that, out loud, as if you were reading off stock quotes in the paper, and ignore any punctuation)

I couldn't get through the entire five min. 22 seconds. I was nauseaous at two minutes. YIIIIIIIICK! Not only is Bill a creep, he's a double-bagger, to boot.
:vomit:

flippant 10-23-2004 07:54 PM

A double-bagger is? :eyebrow:
Should I even ask?

Clodfobble 10-24-2004 10:49 AM

A bag for his head, and a bag for yours too.

xoxoxoBruce 10-24-2004 11:04 AM
