Uh, I never much liked Stoli, I think it's in large part thanks to a string of "bad" experiences with it in college. I'm not a big fan of flavoured vodkas either, though the "Van Gogh" chocolate-flavoured vodka makes a really unique screwdriver. Definitely worth at least one try.

My 'learned aversions' are for Southern Comfort *shudder* and tequilla - one makes me sick, one makes me naked - both good and valid reasons to avoid drinking either of them.

I know we've got tequila around here somewhere........

My Perfect Drink:
Beefeater gin martini, 5:1, shaken, up, with an olive. Please chill the glass first.
Mmmm.. mojitos.
Red wine, mostly zin and shiraz.
Tequila shots with lime & salt.
Margaritas (classic lime only; strange fruit need not apply)
Domestic microbrews or imports

Did you ever think about drinks you could drink?
There’s so many drinks if you only just think!
Such wonderful drinks! Even drinks that are pink!
Or yellow! Or purple! Even green, blue or brown.
You can think of a drink for any color around!
You can have scotch and soda.
You could have gin and juice.
You can have a wine spritzer
if you’re really a puss.
Have a mint julep. Or Jameson’s on ice.
Perhaps a slippery nipple’d be nice?
Margaritas! Mimosas! How about a martini?
Or bourbon? Perhaps you’d prefer a bellini?
A rusty nail just might hit the spot.
Do you like tequila? Let’s do a shot!
Do you savor Sambuca? Pernod? Or Ouzo?
Oh, the drinks you can drink if you just choose to do so!
We could have Bailey’s. Kahlua. Or Jager.
But I’m getting thirsty, so do me a favor.
Make a selection and go place an order.
And please pay for mine too, ‘cause I just have a quarter.
Max Farr

"Pick Me Up (Big Chicken)" - John Entwistle
From his first solo album, "Smash Your Head Against the Wall"

Gather 'round the bar let's have a race
I wanna see how much beer I can pour into my face
Bottoms up, down it goes, sending bubbles up my nose
Pick me up and lay me somewhere safe
Don't stand me up, I'll fall. Lean me up against the wall.
I'll mever touch the demon drink again.
All I'll touch is tea, alcohol's destroying me.

All I want to do is sleep.
All I want to do is sleep.

Everything is spinning 'round
Got to get up off the ground
Sorry if I miss my round
This one's on me lads, here's a pound.

Take me out and put me in a taxi.
Tell the driver where to go, 'cause I don't think I'll know.
See you all tomorrow in the bar.
I've got to come back, 'cause I've had to leave the car.

All I want to do is sleep.
All I want to do is sleep.
