Jackson doesn't need a reason.

Her family is Portuguese, and was living in Mozambique when she was born.

changing of the guard

I didn't see Obama but Pete says the keynote rocked. My Hillary lovin ma in law actually called Hils speech shrill. Teresa is a nice change from Hillarys constant dissembling. I'm sure I'll be sick of them in four years but Bush lied and thousands died. new sign on the way home

I saw Obama. Wow. He was great.
And yes Wolf, he is an American too.

Obama commanded as much presence as Bill Clinton.

It's a good reflection on a guy that he likes strong-willed women and that he's willing to let her speak her mind.
You mean she'll be running the country? :haha:

Happy Monkey 07-28-2004 06:30 PM

That's right. If you don't keep strong-willed women from speaking their minds, the next thing you know, they'll be running everything!

xoxoxoBruce 08-09-2004 11:15 AM

I'll give you that, but theres a reason the wimps didn't go there. The question is WHY would it be political suicide. Rejection by the voters or AMA/Drug company opposition?
