This whole categorising of stuff not worth bothering with under the label "gay" really pisses me off. It is just like calling a guy a "girl" as an insult. It suggests there is something highly undesirable about being either of those things if it is the ultimate insult. If a woman is acting like a ball breaking powerbitch we dont call her a boy as an insult. Calling someone a bitch or a slag is at least based on a specific insult rather than just "female" and that being enough. Same with gay. Calling a guy a dramaqueen for instance, draws on the idea of gay as insult but it's specific rather than just the mere idea of homosexuality being in and of itself such a dire insult as to need no further specification.

Being homosexual is highly undesirable.

There's something wrong with being a ball breaking powerbitch?

don't be gay, dana. And don't make a mountain out of a mole hill either. i don't care if freddy mercury liked to ride the bologna pony. thats fine. would "Queer" sound better in this context?
|
I always had an expectation that Freddie was gay.
The band wasn't called Queen because they liked Elizabeth II a whole lot, after all. Rob Halford? Now THERE'S a shocker. |
the first concert i ever went to was Kiss. The Dynasty tour in 1980. I was 10. Judas Priest opened for them. My dad said the singer looked a little "fancy" in the leather hat and chaps. I dodnt know what that meant at the time, and just assumed that he meant fancy as in overdressed. I must have inherited my Gaydar.

On the whole homosexual thing , who gives a flying f**k , the question is can they sing , play their instruments , and right good music ???? Queen was one of the ALL time BEST bands ever !!!!!! so what if they smoked a pole or 2 . |
