Hey they actually have a Sims game for the Gameboy Advance.. it got pretty good reviews so I decided to take a chance on it on Fleabay. (I wasn't paying attention and accidentally ended up bidding for it from a Hong Kong seller, which I usually avoid, well, except for certain, shall we say, informally distributed, DVDs, so that was a minus. On the plus side, I successfully sniped a competing bid of $15.01 to win with $15.37, so no matter what happens with the game I really pissed off somebody! )

Well I had the cartridge for a while, but only just got around to replacing the lost Gameboy... I ended up with the Nintendo classic edition GB Advance SP. I think the cart is a bootleg, 1) because the circuit card is on the thin side (enough so that it feels somewhat loose when you put it in the Gameboy) and 2) because it is missing the "Pat. Pend. Made in Japan" on the back under the Nintendo part #." But if this is a knockoff, everything else is an excellent job, right down to the "official Nintendo seal of quality."

Anyway... the Sims Bustin' Out... I'm liking it so far.. but feeling very incompetent. You start out visiting your uncle in rural Sim Valley, and before you can go anywhere else you have to acquire some cash and a promotion by mowing the grass. Well I can't mow the #@&$*(& grass properly, and I keep mowing the flowers and losing wages!! My Sim doesn't have enough cash to feed himself.

Oh well, I'm sure I'll get the hang eventually.
