Sounds like a good compromise. :) I don't wish to belabor this but screwing with peoples internal clocks is just mean. Pete consistently gets sick when we lose the hour because her body just needs to stay on a rythmn. Our country is large enough that we could probably link a few extra deaths to driving at sun up again or even link an early death or two to illness brought on by weakening immune systems. It's possible that some folks save a little energy, but we could do more by increasing cafe standards, enforcing travel restrictions and putting LJ out of the Grand Cherokee business. I'm not for that either.

I love it too. Love the way the days get longer, and then comes the summer solstice, the longest day, and it wouldn't get completely dark until damn near 9pm!

Unfortunately, one of the buttons on my watch is not functioning for some reason, and it's the one that allows me to (re)set the time.

This means that my watch is set in non-DST mode until I either get a new one or figure out what's wrong with this one.

Doesnt AZ ignore DST? or am I making that up?

I wonder how much two round trip tickets to Pennsylvania cost?

It will be June 26-27. You have more than enough time to book, and would be staying over a weekend ... or consider a nice, leisurely road trip. The south eastern and mid atlantic states are lovely in early june ...
