Aside from Sharon's culpability, being charged a war criminal in Belgium is not very meaningful because Belgian rules permit the charge too easily.
But that doesn't mean he isn't. Nor does it mean there aren't a lot of others (WCs), involved in this stupidity.

I could, and should, become the president of the United States. I'd be a far more level headed, intelligent, leader than any in the past 100 years and America would be far better off with me than with any of them.

I'd vote for you over the last 4 presidents we've had. before that, i'm too young to remember.

Radar for President

eta: you might have some trouble over the first lady, though.

I'm talking about the source of the problem. Since most of the biblical cities and events happened there, I'm guessing it's religious in nature.

Rightly noted: religion is a primary cause of biased history. To appreciate pre-20th Century history for that region, view a PBS Television college course called The Western Tradition. History does not justify any religious claims to that land and the changing maps in that history course demonstrate. Literally ever power at one point or another conquered those lands meaning that either everyone or no one has rights to the land.

And so we have one (of many) benchmarks for outright liars. They insist the land historically belongs to a religious group or that *god* promised them the land. It's really bull. The land belongs (moreso) to all people. Conflict directly traceable to those who are so stupid as to believe the propaganda from any religion.

Why was the funeral for Khalil Gibran represented by every major religious leader in the Middle East? Because as a good man, he bluntly criticized all who used religion to make civil and social decisions. Bias so widespread that no religion can be honest. Lies directly traceable to principles on which every religion is based.
