Fantasia , was , is and will always be one of the best movies EVER in my humble opinion .
Yes, yes, yes. I saw Fantasia maybe 20 times, in the theatre, over the years. 20 different ages, 20 different social situations, 20 different chemical imbalances and was awed every time. The first time, "Night on Bald Mountain" had me under my seat. The last time, we sat in the front row and giggled the whole movie.:D

I hear they're in the middle of greuling process of making a full-length movie of the two English blobs of clay. Fuckin A.

The only children's movies I remember liking as a kid are the original Muppet movies. There must have been a few others, but nothing springs to mind.

Wallace and Grommitt take the prize for me, and Chicken Run was HYSTERICAL, second would be Disney from "Little Mermaid" through "Tarzan" (not Atlantis, tho I love Michael J Fox) then jump to the the Pixar stuff, "Toy Story", "Shrek", and "Monster's Inc." I also like "The Prince of Egypt". Haven't seen Brother Bear yet, but then, my kids haven't been with me this year.

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
The Jungle Book
Doctor Doolittle (Rex Harrison ... the Real Dr. D. None of that Eddie Murphy comedy nonsense!)

Yearly TV stuff: A Charlie Brown Christmas and It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown

"Legend" is a bit sappy, but Tim Curry as Darkness is awe inspiring.
