IotD is the hook for many people. I got interested in the Cellar because of it, then lurked around a while.

I'm here for the people and personalities as well as the interesting discussion (if you're going to do another one of these LJ, allow us to pick more than one).

The very unique grammar and personalized speeling.

It's comfy, I can take my shoes and girdle off.:)

I considered that, but then i thought everyone would vote for everything, and there would be no point in the poll. By having to choose one, you chose the one thing you like the very best, and that's what I wanted to know.

I guess I asked in the first place because I have been somewhat troubled by my own obsession with the cellar. You all know, and occasionally rip me for the fact that I spend a lot of time reading and posting to this site. Here's more on that subject

I'm here for the all nude male revue. :D

I like the rich, Corinthian leather.

This place is grown-up without us taking ourselves too seriously.

I resent that.:p

I don't even know how I wandered in here, but when I did, I was glued to the site for hours. I came back and wore my lurking hat the next day.

The in-depth debates
The other Cellar Dwellers (for the most part)
The varied points of view
The opportunity to have my point of view heard

and

The opportunity to have my point of view challenged (like that's NOT gonna happen!;)),


If I can only pick one, it'd have to be the varied points of view--that kinda encompasses the rest of them.

I expected the boundries of knowledge and experience, on a website, to be limited to nerdy pursuits. Not so, in the Cellar. There's a vast pool of knowledge and experience to draw from. And twice as much opinion. ;)
