I am on-scene. You are not.

Their ethnicity concerns no one of responsibility. Their, ah, casual attitude about official permissions rather does. It's not even villainy driving them, but a complete want of opportunity in the class stratified societies down south. Subsistence farming isn't making it. Since the pandemic, border crossings have gone to about zilch.

Use a carp. You can blind yourself with it.

Use you? No thanks, you're too fishy.

I have received and completed two US Census snap surveys in as many weeks. They are trying to track Covid impacts, and the questions are pretty good. Interestingly, the questions have not changed, but my answers have. They even ask about mental health stuff with a handful of questions about how much you worry, if you find enjoyment in doing stuff and things like that.

I left the links in there because I bet they don't work now that I have taken the survey
A Message from the Director, U.S. Census Bureau

To continue to support the nation’s recovery, we are again collecting timely information on how the coronavirus pandemic has affected people’s lives and finances. We are asking you to participate in another round of the Household Pulse Survey, even if your situation has not changed. This survey is being conducted over the next five days only.

I'm on-scene. You are not. Am I going to believe some last-ditch anticonservative fanatic, or dismiss him as being nutty as a PayDay bar? -- or on the gripping hand believe my own unimpaired eyes and ears?

You quit pooping on Jerry Pournelle.
