Speaking of feeding your SCOBY, I was just reminded of the time that I--after not eating all day and still being in a rush--quickly drank a 20-oz kombucha along with 3 chocolate-chip cookies... thus giving the colony a whole pile of sugar to feast on in my stomach, and prompting a violently projectile vomit session about 20 minutes later.
