First snow shoveling of the year here.

Not sure I needed to; I could have easily driven over the amount of snow that was there. I just wanted to minimize the amount of ice after it refreezes tonight.

I had a guy in Southern Vermont tell me they had 2 feet by this noon when the wind started howling, and snow started coming down at 2 to 4 inches an hour.
On Cape Cod, a little snow, a little rain, the roads are cool and it's windy.

The winter. There have been two earlier snowfalls, but I just had to brush the car off those times. This was the first shoveling.

I figure that's what you probably meant. Wasn't the forecast for peak Cherry Blossoms today?

Ah, so they've pushed back a week.

I was in DC this past weekend for a performance at the Strathmore. Sunday we did the touristy thing... Took the Metro into DC from Grosvenor. There were buds, but the bloom is probably gonna be this weekend. Had a great time though. I haven't done the touristy thing in DC for 30+ years.

Glatt doesn't have the physique of a thug, but HM is of substantial build. However I highly doubt either is either.
