I was wondering if your neighbors hussle their children inside when you walk down the sidewalk? It seems like anytime someone tries add fun to elightenment, the Mad Mothers Against Anything Fun start picketing. Thanks for striking a blow against repression.

     I know that I would've loved that. Heck, it would've been a great excuse to 'explore the terrain' so to speak. Not that anybody needs much of an excuse at that age.

Neighbors love what I do, at least the ones I speak to..kids are extraordinally candid with me and ask questions all the time. So, the neighbors seem fine with the puppet, (did I mention the puppets smell good too? they are stuffed with potpourri and essential oils) When we had open studios, I had a parade of 6-12 year old girls coming in..
As with my long time friends and their children,, only one stoppped speaking to me and she was supposedly a liberated x-mormon.

the puppets support me, so I'm ever grateful to have work that provides some meaning in my life.
