The Cellar - Winter Solstice.

1500 Pagans and Druids celebrated the Winter Solstice yesterday morning at Stonehenge.

The event was presided over by King Arthur Pendragon, a senior Druid.

On a side note, I know nothing about the technicalities of photography, so I'm prepared to be shot down in flames.
However, the composition of this photo is redolent of an Renaissance religious painting. It's remarkable, but I'm only a layman, so what do I know?
