A user need not log in (which shows up under Currently Active Users) to simply lurk. It seems more likely the user is PMing; or, has authorized someone else to monitor account activity.

Logging in also lets the system keep track of what posts have and haven't been read, otherwise the New Posts button doesn't work at all.

Yes, the account is still active. You can use the search function to find the user's posts by typing in the username; then, click on the username in the results page to access the user's profile. Only the membership listing is missing from the public board.

Maybe it's my super secret mod powers, but I see her on the member list, even when I refresh. What are you all talking about?
